On September 2023, Ayoubi mentioned that Disney IS interested on the series overall concept for a potential series for Disney Channel or Disney+ thanks to Ayoubi inking a overall development deal with Disney TVA recently BUT that Disney dosn't want to set a buy back with Nickelodeon right now with the cost cutting at Disney since early 2023 due Bob Iger's return. Additionaly since 2021 Disney has been on a legal buy back with Nickelodeon and Paramount for Monica Ray's Magic Children Doing Things for a potential Disney Channel show so probably another case to NOT wanting to set a buy back to Monsters Abroad, let's hope they can set both shows back at Disney when this cost cutting troubles are over
